Let’s Rock Chats with Will Turpin of Collective Soul

YEAH!

Since exploding onto the rock scene with their smash hit single Shine in 1993, Collective Soul has been a mainstay in the business, releasing 12 albums, including their latest, Here To Eternity which dropped on May 17, 2024, a 20 song, double LP.

Bassist Will Turpin was kind enough to call in and have a chat about all thing Collective Soul, including, the new album, playing Woodstock (Collective Soul was 1 of 5 bands to play both ’94 and ’99), recording in Elvis hou’ Palm Springs house, touring with Van Halen and a bunch more.

The band is set to hit the road with Edwin McCain and Hootie and The Blowfish on May 30th.

Apologies for the sound. It was a phone interview, which was unexpected, so I had to scramble to find a way to record it.
