The Dead Daisies are back with a new album, Light ‘Em Up, coming out on September 6 2024. It’s a hard rockin’, raw, powerful album that sees vocalist John Corabi return to the mix. Corabi’s return to Daisyland, along with the additions of Michael Devin on bass and Tommy Clufetos on drums, along with mainstay guitarists David Lowy and Doug Aldrich, make Light ‘Em Up a stellar comeback. While it’s true that they did release the excellent Radiance in 2022, with Glenn Hughes handling bass and vocal duties, Corabi IS the vocalist for The Dead Daisies.

Doug Aldrich joined Let’s Rock for a chat about Light ‘Em Up, Nuno’s guitar solo in Rise, pineapple on pizza and even the olympics. Fun note: this was Doug’s 4th appearance on Let’s Rock, tying him for the most visits with Styx’ Larence Gowan. John Corabi is second with three. Maybe we should get him to chat about the new album, as well.
