Frank Hannon of Tesla has just released his new solo album Reflections (Sept. 13, 2025). It is a beautiful, relaxing listen that may surprise you. Recorded entirely on his phone with the help of Audigo, the album features from-the-heart, bluesy, country/western tunes that evoke the emotions Frank was feeling when he recorded everything in one take.
He called, literally, from the road. Traveling to Daryl’s Place in New York for a gig to showcase the new album, he spoke about the recording process, the healing of making the album, Neil Young and Dead Man, his favourite Canadian guitarists and much more.
(The video on the Zoom call was choppy and glitchy, so this vid is audio with pictures.)
