Let’s Rock Chats With Terry Bozzio

I learned so much from speaking with Terry Bozzio. Before our chat, I had really never heard of drum melodies, or compositions on the drums. This is not in any way an insult at drummers (some of my best friends are drummers). It is simply that I’ve always considered drums as a time keeping instrument that kicks ass. Now, I have seen the light.

Terry is one of the few drummers that can put on a show similar to the one he is performing on his current Reality Tour 2018. He is playing “the world’s largest tuned drum set” in a one man show that is sure to entertain. His resume speaks for itself (Zappa, Vai, Missing Persons, Steve Stevens, Alan Holdsworth, Jeff Beck, etc.), but don’t expect to hear any of that at the gig. This is all Terry, all drums and all amazing.
