It’s not everyday you get to chat with a dude that has played guitar with Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, David Bowie and Jimi Hendrix’ rhythm section. But, life is full of firsts. Just before Christmas, Blues guitarist extraordinaire, Scott Holt, called into Let’s Rock to discuss his history as well as his new project, Earl & The Agitators. Born from a jam session that turned into a new album, Shaken& Stirred is a blues tour-de-force, and shows Holt’s blues mastery as he shuffles from Earl originals to classic blues tunes and a beautiful rendition of Kris Kristofferson’s Sunday Morning Coming Down.
Scott was kind enough to chat with us about his beginnings, his guitars, Buddy Guy, Earl & the Agitators and a lot more. Listen to the full interview below.
